This sensor is ideal for E153 swaps into other Toyota models that need an electronic vehicle speed sensor (VSS) signal, such as the 2000-2005 Celica and 2003-2008 Corolla/Matrix (non-ABS). The stock VSS connector in these vehicles plugs right in to this sensor. Sensor not needed when swapping into MR2 Spyder or Lotus models, as these vehicles use ABS sensors to measure vehicle speed.
