PPE Headers have a significant increase in flow compared for the 2ZZ-GE swapped MR2 Spyder. Completely TIG welded construction with thick 16 gauge tubing for long lasting power gains and optional parallel merge collector.

Q: What are the benefits of upgrading to a parallel merge collector?

A: A parallel merge collector makes the transition from primary tube to collector as smooth as possible. This reduction in turbulence helps maintain velocity through the collector, thus increasing the scavenging power of the header system. Gains may be minimal, without supporting modifications to the cylinder head and intake systems (port, polish, valve-job).

REMARKS
  • Bolts up to PPE’s 2ZZ-GE high-flow cat or 2ZZ test pipe (required). Does not bolt to MR2 1ZZ stock midpipe.
    • Right side, Upstream O2 sensor wiring must be lengthened to reach the collector area. Left side, Upstream O2 sensor, due to the 2ZZ-GE ECUs requiring only one upstream O2 sensor.
  • This product is intended for off road use only.

    The customer service was great, when i asked i got a reply relatively quick and i had all my questions answered. Shipping was fast for a package of this size including 3 other large products.

    The header itself is truly amazing, lot's of people on spyderchat said i have to get it cause the stock header top end power, and they were right. The car really goes whooosh at 5000rpm and up, going wild at 6250 cause of lift naturally. Highly recommended/mandatory if decide to swap.
