If you want to breath some life into your exhaust note without driving your neighbors crazy, this is the choice for you. Cold starts are throaty but not too loud. It barely makes a sound if you're holding your RPMs, especially at residential speeds. Getting out of your neighborhood can be near silent, and there is very little drone on the highway.
However.
When you give it the beans, it comes to life. It roars through the full throttle range, getting more aggressive as you get higher. Between 5-7k, it sounds like a racecar. My 1ZZ with open headers burbles when you let off, so I can only imagine what a 2ZZ sounds like...
Installation was easy as well - we did it in a garage in around 3 hours.
