The original 2ZZ-GE oil pump gear was produced of a weak sintered alloy, which cannot handle the abuse of high rpm performance driving. This assembly with Genuine Toyota housing with pre-installed upgraded pump gears precision cut from 4340 steel, have been thoroughly tested to take high heat and high rpms without failure. 4340 material, works great for most applications and has excellent durability.
