Q: Will this run on the stock Gen 2/3/4 ECU?
A: This will run on stock ECU, however, there may be an increased load for the charging system which long term can lead to premature wear on the alternator. The 80AMP turbo alternator is recommended. This is kit is recommended for aftermarket engine management systems.
Q: How can I reduce potential wear on the alternator?
A: Ideally, the ignition system should run a separate relay and fuse direct from 12v battery supply.
Q: Is the pigtail connector included?
A: Pigtail is included, however the coil-on-plug wiring is DIY.
